Description
This drinking fountain was so clean and beautiful in design I was compelled to photograph it. Then as I looked over the image in the camera.....that's when I had an overwhelming sense of gratitude to be living in a society that all I have to do is just walk up to a beautiful fixture and just drink.
Over large parts of the world, humans have inadequate access to potable water and use sources contaminated with disease vectors, pathogens or unacceptable levels of toxins or suspended solids. Drinking or using such water in food preparation leads to widespread acute and chronic illnesses and is a major cause of death and misery in many countries.

Me too, Michel ;-) I like seeing a little bling as well! The minimalism version was more about highlighting the shadows and shapes. More importantly, I want to bring awareness in regards to the importance of having clean consumable water and for gratefulness to those who do. Appreciate the visit and support as always ;-)
